I felt that way when I was beginning to wonder about eBay as well... I felt like I didn't know how to sell anything.. Or what to do to sell it... It was pretty confusing.

But then I found some help and now I have a great understanding of how eBay works, and how to sell some stuff online... I'm going to give you the top 3 tips that I felt helped me out.
Before we do that, let us go over the mechanics of how to sell on eBay first. First, you create an eBay account. Then you validate it after they send you an email probably... Log in to your account. Then you can put up auctions by setting your prices and the time limit, and whether it's an auction or a "buy it now" product. And that's it! it's really simple on how to set up an auction... But how do you sell on eBay? What should you sell? Here comes the top 3 tips I think will create a difference for you and put some money in your wallet.
1) Remember what you're doing when you're selling something on eBay. Sure, you're putting money in your pocket, but you're also helping people solve a problem. People buy things for a reason. They want to solve a problem.. And you need to provide that. There are tons of people who also just buy things that "they like," and that's a huge market as well.
This is why almost anything can be sold on eBay... So it's not a question of how do I sell something on eBay, and more of a who should I sell WHAT to on eBay.
2) Brainstorm. Think in your head about things that you've bought recently. Think about things that you love you could afford... Or things that you were EXTREMELY happy about buying after you've bought them. This involves electronics.. Cell phones... Televisions. Computers sell very well. I mean I know you probably don't have any extra of these, but it will lead to other great things. What about DVDs? Collector's editions of media. Cameras. All that kind of stuff that people LOVE to buy
3) Don't NOT put something up just because you DON'T think it will sell. You should put any and everything up online. Some people have sold the dumbest things for ,000 or more... Just don't stop and don't take NO for an answer! Put everything up online!
